Ride bikes and ski snowcats, try curling and ice climbing in the ski resorts

Winter Ski Resorts - they're not just for skiers and snowboarders more. Instead, they are also attracting people who want to to ride bikes and ski snowcats, try curling or climbing or click Zipline or sliding center.

Skiing before all of the chairlift, bar and hotel, "said Dan Sherman, director of marketing for tour operators Ski.com. "Now there is so much still to be done if people on skis or not."

Then again, the changes may be associated not only with the target marketing than just muscle fatigue.

"With detachable quads, people can get a lot more work in that the average person can only go skiing or snowboarding from 10 to 2," kidded Michael J. Ballingall, Senior Vice President, Big White, BC

For those looking for something else, these events promise lots of thrills, chills and, no doubt, from time to time of the spill.



Ski-Bike

Ski-bikes, also known as a ski beans have been around for many years, but these days they're going high with a full suspension, skis, which are actually cut-and footboards instead of those miniature skis you should be wearing the boots. Known as "peggers", the new models provide a more BMX-like ride that allows you to get air, hit bumps and head off-piste. This winter, Winter Park, Colorado, offers a first ski bike package of services including bike rental, lessons and lift ticket for $ 99. Snowcat driving
