In London, beat Tokyo, New York and Paris to be crowned Trade Center Planet. Research Centre in the UK Retail Studies show London top city for stores and online stores, generation? 4.2 billion ($ 102,930,000,000) of non-food retail sales last year.

Tokyo ranked second with sales? 61.4 billion ($ 98.44 billion), followed by New York? 47 billion ($ 75.36 billion) and in Paris? 46.6 billion ($ 74,720,000,000).

Research commissioned by shopping comparison Kelkoo, covered 22 major destinations around the world shops.

Kelkoo marketing director Chris Simpson said the key to success in London was the quality and number of shops on offer, combined with proceeds from the huge number of tourists, which was held in the capital of the UK every year making it the shopping center of the planet.
