Nile cruises and holidays to Luxor are going to restartAfter the Foreign Affairs relaxed its stance on the visit to the Egyptian city Nile cruises and vacation in Luxor intend to restart. This is no longer advising against "all but essential travel" in Luxor, which is based on "improving the situation on the ground." 


United Kingdom's largest tour operator, Thomas Cook and Tui Travel, will resume flights to Luxor next Wednesday, after almost four weeks after discontinuation.


New Egypt will begin flights from Manchester and Gatwick, and the Red Sea holidays will resume Nile cruises and vacation February 28.


Thomas Cook representative welcomed the news and said it will continue to investigate the situation and listen to his advice of Foreign Affairs. Thomas Cook and Tui announced last week that riots in Egypt worth it? 20 million? 30 million respectively.


Decision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs follows the resignation of President Mubarak last week and the subsequent easing of tensions in the country.


This is still advising against all but essential travel to Cairo, where the majority of protests have taken place, the Suez and the Mediterranean port of Alexandria.


Operators continue to offer holidays in Sharm el-Sheikh and Red Sea resorts throughout the crisis, while Jet2.com recently announced it is scrapping the entire summer schedule in the region.
