Number of Russian tourists in Hungary has increased

number of Russian tourists who remained in the Hungarian hotels increased by more than 20 percent. This information was obtained from the Hungarian National Tourist Office.

According to them, 7,727,600 tourists visited the country in 2010 (6.1 per cent compared to 2009), spending an average of 2.8 days. As for Russian, 95,900 people visited Hungary in 2010 (20.5 per cent compared with 2009).

Statistics show that Russian liked to visit Hungarian spa and wellness hotels. Number of nights in a Russian spa resorts totaled 115,000 (8.9 percent) with the highest growth at 24.6 percent among all countries.
